To become a GoCom partner:

Generally, we accept all car makes and models not older than 16 years to date. So, for instance, in 2018, we accept all car makes and models manufactured from 2002 to date.
However, during temporal activation, we place all cars in the Regular Car type. After your final inspection and permanent activation, we may move your car to Special Car type if it meets the necessary conditions

No, you can just download and install GoCom Driver and register. We verify your data internally, call you on phone for the introductory discussion and grant you temporal activation thereafter.
Yes, you must come to our office on the day we would tell you during the introductory call for final vehicle inspection, document submission and permanent activation. Failure to do so will lead to automatic deactivation of your account.
You have to accept or reject a ride request assigned to you within 40 seconds, else the GoCom Driver app will automatically reject it on your behalf. Hence, we earnestly implore you to keep your phone very close whenever you are online. If GoCom Driver app automatically rejects a ride request on your behalf, it is counted against you as if you rejected it by yourself.
Please, remember to turn yourself offline whenever you are not ready to work to avoid receiving requests. This is because certain percentage of request rejection can lead to account deactivation.
GoCom takes 13% of the fare.
You can receive payment everyday. In fact, in some cases, you are paid as soon as the customer completes his/her card transaction.
Our system is designed to accept cash and card payments. Driver receives cash while GoCom receives card transactions. After payment at the end of each trip, our system runs automatic counter-balancing and triggers automatic payment to you if your balance with us has reached N4000.
You are expected to pay GoCom as soon as you owe up to N4000. To see the current amount you owe us or we owe you, on the GoCom Driver app, click on Payment Histoy. Positive balance indicates that GoCom owes you and vice versa.
To pay GoCom, on the GoCom Driver app, click on Payment Histoy, click on the $ icon on the top right and select Pay Now.
If you fail to pay when due, we will call to remind you. However, if you still do not pay after the call, your account will be deactivated.

No, you should not because neither you nor the passenger can change the fare.
Time spent in traffic during the trip is calculated and added to the initial trip cost estimate. This is why the initial cost estimate will almost always differ from the final cost.
However, it is very important that you remember to click Begin Trip as soon as the passenger settles down in your vehicle before you start driving to the destination. That is when the system starts recording the time for the trip. The recording remains accurate even if your phone shuts down during the trip.
Please, try as much as possible to avoid any form of confrontation with the customer. It can lead to permanent deactivation.
However, if you sense that any thing might lead to you having issue with the rider in any form, notify GoCom Admin immediately. We will attend to it with no delay. Even if the passenger is forcebly leaving without paying, just inform us while he/she is still with you.
If it is a case of uncommon rude conduct from the customer, you can rate the customer down or send us feedback via the Feedback button on the About page of GoCom Driver app.

GoCom Taxi accepts cash and card payment types. The cards allowed are Master, Verve and Visa.
The final trip cost is calculated by multiplying cost per kilometer by the actual time spent on the trip.
You can see the actual trip distance when you are placing the order, but not the actual time. The actual time starts from the moment the driver click on the Begin Trip button on the driver app till the time he clicks Finish; at your destination.
This is because the estimated trip cost is calculated before the journey begins based on the estimated duration of the trip while the final fare is based on the actual time spent on the journey.
The actual fare could be less if less time is spent or more otherwise.
We earnestly appeal to you to avoid any occasion that may lead to confrontation with our driver.
However, if you sense that such a situation may arise, kindly give our Admin a call at the spot, rate the driver down or notify us via the Feedback button on the About page of GoCom app. We will do everything possble to amicably resolve the problem once we hear from you and take necessary action to prevent subsequent occurrence.
We always advise our drivers to call you as soon as they discover such. We also strongly encourage you to call the driver once you discover. Should the driver be unreachable, just call our Admin and we will find a way to get to the driver sooner.
To call the concerned driver after your trip has completed, on the GoCom app, click on My Bookings menu, select the trip concerned and you will see the Call button at the bottom.
Please, do not fear. If it was really in our Taxi that you forgot them, we will definitely get your belongings back.
